Tabaq 38: a 3D tower you can open floor by floor

A working prototype we built to show Dubai developers what a 3D property website can do. Tabaq Developments is fictional — its permit numbers and prices are invented and labelled so on the site.

The brief

A site that sells the floor, not a brochure.

Off-plan buyers want to know one thing: which home, on which floor, at what price, and what is still free. So the site is the building: thirty-eight floors, no two drawn alike, each one you can pull out and open.

What we built

Pull out a floor; it lands as a plan.

Point at a floor and it slides out like a drawer, its walls rise into a lit dollhouse and a price stands on every home. Click it and the camera comes down onto the plate: a dimensioned plan with rooms, sizes, doors and a north arrow.

Floor 27 as a plan: every room sized, every door swung, the price card beside it.

How it is made

One drawing behind every number.

  • One geometry drives the 3D tower, the plates, the price chips, the plans and the floor cards — nothing is typed twice.
  • Sizes and prices are counted from the drawing, and a geometry check proves rooms sit inside homes and floors stack.
  • Phones and keyboards first: tap a floor or drag the floor scale; nothing depends on hover.
  • Next.js, three.js, GSAP and Lenis — text stays real HTML, so search engines read every word.

The payment plan

You pay as it rises. Escrow holds it first.

Pick a home and the site writes its payment statement against the construction timeline — what you pay, when, and what escrow releases.

The escrow chapter: the tower builds itself as the instalments fall due.

How long it took

Two days from concept to live.

The concept was chosen on 11 October 2026 and the site went live on 12 October — built by our agents, checked by an independent design review, and fixed by hand where the review found faults.
