Choose imagesThis watermark tool paints your mark onto each image with the browser's canvas, so the photos never leave your device. Choose a text mark, set in bold type in any colour, or a logo image. Put it in one of nine positions on a three-by-three grid, set in from the edges by 3.5% of the shorter side, or press “Tile everywhere” to repeat it in rows on a 30° diagonal across the picture, so it is not confined to one corner a crop could remove. Size runs from 2 to 40%: for text it sets the font size as a share of the shorter side, for a logo its width as a share of the image width. Opacity runs from 5 to 100% and rotation from −90° to 90°. The live preview shows your first image, and the same settings apply to the whole batch. JPEG and WebP keep their format, anything else is saved as PNG, and several files download as watermarked.zip. Camera and location data are dropped unless you choose to keep them.
What you can do

How to use watermark
- “Drop images here” or click “Choose images”Drag one or more images onto the drop area, or click it to pick them. The first image appears under Preview with the default text mark already on it.
- Choose “Text” or “Logo” under “Type”For Text, type your wording and pick a colour with the swatch. For Logo, click the button beside the “No logo” box and choose an image; a transparent PNG gives the cleanest result.
- Pick a spot under “Placement”Click one of the eight arrows or the centre dot, or press “Tile everywhere” to repeat the mark across the whole image.
- Adjust “Size”, “Opacity” and “Rotation”The preview redraws a moment after each slider moves. Rotation is hidden while tiling, because tiled marks are always set at 30°.
- Click “Download” or “Download all (.zip)”A single image saves straight away; several are bundled into watermarked.zip. “Clear” empties the batch so you can start again.
FAQ
Are my photos uploaded to add the watermark?
No. Each image is decoded and drawn onto a canvas in your browser tab, the mark is painted on top, and the new file is encoded there too. When you download several, the .zip is built in the tab as well, and the finished files go straight to your downloads folder.
How do I stop a watermark being cropped out?
Press “Tile everywhere”. It repeats the text or logo in rows across the image on a 30° diagonal, so the mark is not confined to one corner that a crop could remove. A lower opacity keeps a tiled photo readable; the slider goes down to 5%.
What size and opacity should I use for a watermark?
The tool starts at 6% size and 55% opacity. Size is measured against the image itself, so the same setting gives the same proportion on a small phone photo and a large camera file: text is set at that share of the shorter side, and a logo's width at that share of the image width. Lower opacity is less distracting but easier to overlook.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Drop several images, or press “Add more” later, and the same watermark is applied to every one. One image downloads on its own, and two or more download as watermarked.zip, each named with -watermarked added before the extension. The preview shows only the first image, so check any picture with a very different shape after downloading.
What format and size is the watermarked image?
JPEG stays JPEG and WebP stays WebP, both re-encoded at 95% quality; every other format, including PNG, is saved as PNG. The width and height in pixels do not change.
Does adding a watermark remove EXIF and GPS data?
Yes, by default: the image is redrawn on a canvas, which keeps only pixels. For JPEG files you can tick “Keep the photo’s info (EXIF)” to carry the camera, lens, settings, capture date and copyright into the output; GPS location stays out unless you also tick “Include location”, and the rotation tag is reset to upright because the rotation is already in the pixels. Only the EXIF block is carried, not XMP, IPTC or colour profiles, and PNG or WebP output carries none.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose “Logo” under “Type”, click the button beside the “No logo” box and pick the image. It keeps its own proportions, the Size slider sets its width, and Opacity fades it the same way as text. A transparent PNG gives the cleanest result, because any solid background in the logo file is drawn onto the photo too.
