Cron builder
Cron builder

Cron: every 30 minutes — */30 * * * *

Twice an hour, at :00 and :30 — */30 is exactly equivalent to writing 0,30 in the minute field. It works cleanly because 30 divides 60.

That divisibility is the part people miss: steps reset at the top of each hour, so */35 does NOT mean "every 35 minutes" — it fires at :00 and :35, then :00 again, a 25-minute gap. For a true every-N-minutes cadence where N does not divide 60, cron alone cannot express it; you need a different scheduler or an in-job timer.
